Box.png

You will need another texture, a box, for the newer tutorials. This is a very simple texture that I made in about 5 seconds so there is not much to it:

Mouse Textures!

Upcoming tutorial will be a mouse tutorial, so you will need some nice textures. Leibrockoli was nice enough to create these awesome textures for you to use!

Quickest Way to Contact Me

Due to the enormous amount of spam comments I have to deal with, I sometimes become a little slow when getting around to a reasonable comment. So the fastest way to contact me is through the Contact link on the left, or the Forums. You need to be registered here to use the contact link, and you need to be registered on the forums to use that. You can keep requesting help through comments, but it might be a few days before I get to it.

Whats Next?
Dr. Conner is going to hold a graphics tournament as the next contest. You do not have to be an expert at graphics to participate, this is a learning experience and activity booster more than anything. So if you are interested and have not signed up for it yet, head over to the sign-up thread. Prizes will be discussed later once we get enough participants.

Two New Tutorials!

Advanced Techniques

Two new tutorials are now available to the public! I would also like to mention we will no longer be offering public tutorials directly on the server until I get a new one. It takes up a lot of bandwidth having 6-10 versions of one tutorial (including YouTube parts). So with that said, public tutorials will be available at YouTube and Vimeo (links will be provided to the video). I apologize for the complications, but this is better for the server space, and tutorial time.

XNA Advanced Techniques - ScreenManager Files
In this tutorial, I show you how to add the screen manager files to your project in a nicely organized way. I also discuss what these files do. These are from the Space Shooter tutorial, but enhanced for increased functionality.

Part one - YouTube
Part two - YouTube
Vimeo - Will be added soon

XNA Advanced Techniques - Intro Screen
In this tutorial, I continue to discuss the screen manager system and how to implement a logo/intro screen in a very abstract way for easy expansion. Very lengthy tutorial, but a lot was covered.

Part one - YouTube
Part two - YouTube
Part three - YouTube
Part four - YouTube
Part five - YouTube
All 5 parts in one at Vimeo - Recommended so you do not need to go to other videos for part x.

Paddle Tutorial are back!

The links were broken for a few days since the files were moved to a new server. If you find any more broken links, let me know :)
